Guitar note trainer for iPhone
You don't know the fretboard until you don't have to think about it. Nofret drills you toward sub-second recall in five minutes a day — on iPhone.
It works in both directions: name the note at a position you're shown, and find a note you're told on the neck. It measures how fast you answer, not just whether you were right, because speed is the whole point. There's no account, no sign-in, and nothing to set up.
Turn the phone sideways for twice as much neck, laid out the way it looks when you're playing — or keep it upright, whichever you read faster. And if you're new to the fretboard, a Study page is there before anything is timed: the whole neck with every note named, to look at for as long as you like.
