Mneme is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, the same terms that cover most apps on the App Store.
Read Apple's Standard EULA — this is the license agreement for Mneme.
The rest of this page explains the parts specific to Mneme: what Pro is, how it is paid for, and how refunds and restoring work.
Mneme is a lyric memorization app for iPhone, made by Pierce Boyne, an independent developer. Downloading and using the free portion of the app costs nothing and requires no account.
Mneme is free for three songs, with every practice mode. Pro is a single purchase, made once, that lets you add as many songs as you like. The price is shown in the app before you buy, and in the App Store listing, in your local currency.
There is no subscription. You pay once and keep Pro permanently. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and there is nothing to cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
Songs already in your library are never locked, with or without Pro.
Refunds are issued by Apple, not by me. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. I have no access to your payment method and cannot issue a refund directly — but if something in the app is broken, tell me and I will fix it.
If you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone, use Settings › Mneme Pro › Restore purchases inside Mneme. Your purchase follows your Apple Account, not the device.
Mneme stores the lyrics you add on your phone, for your own practice. Song lyrics are usually under copyright; using them to learn a song for yourself is up to you, and Mneme does not share or publish them anywhere.
Mneme is a practice tool. It is provided as-is, without warranty that it will suit any particular purpose or that it will be free of bugs. Speech recognition can mishear, especially over loud music, and its scoring is a guide, not a verdict. It is not vocal tuition, and nothing in it constitutes professional advice.
Mneme collects nothing about you. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
If these terms change, the updated version will appear on this page and the date at the top will change.
